Close Formation

the WWII A-wing, a crucial piece of the Allied campaign. Used primarily as reconnaissance planes due to their light structure and twin powered propellers the A-wing was labeled the dragster of the sky. It would even have a hard time slowing down, due to it's near rocket shape, it would practically fall out of the sky at low speeds. With this said, it made it safe for this plane to perform missions during the day wothout armanent, such as these image here, with two pairs of planes shown just before splitting off to explore different sectors of Germany.
