This... is a bizarre project.
I was wandering through some bizarre corner of the internet and found a few ships with a style that was mildly familiar to me, the "Homeworld" style stuff I guess. The look with a lot of this stuff is sketchy hard lines. I really dunno' how to describe it, but I've seen it around. 

Whilst I didn't really nail the homeworld style I did learn how to do "implied" modeling. For example: this ship is entirely see through! The command tower is 4 polygons! There are no sides! Those tiny ships are also four polygons! (Proof of point: 3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model… )It's actually mildly frustrating to work for one hour and get this result, with something that looks this detailed and complete, while having a project that has been going for two months and still not be done. Ooooo well. No reason to cry over spilt milk right?

Also, sorry the constant stream of uploads as of late. I'm not sure why, but it seems impolite.
